1940 to 2004

Born in United Kingdom on August 23 1940.
Died in Kent England on November 21 2004

15th July 1958

Joined the Royal Artillery.

31st October 1964

Married Catherine.

30th Oct 2006
one day before we would have been married 42 years just been told you didnt want me

21st April 1965

Left the Royal Artillery, but stayed on as regular reserve up until the 16th July 1974.

April 1965

After coming out of the Artillery he then took up a poistion of a builder.

23rd June 1966

First Child was born - Son (Paul David Austin)

3rd May 1968

Second Child was born - Beautiful daughter (Amanda Ann Austin)

8th August 1987

Lionel proudly walked his 'beautiful' daughter down the aisle, to marry his future son in law, John Frame McFarlane. Who grew very found of Lionel or as many known him as (Spud).

2nd April 1990

First grand-daughter was born - (Abbie Jane McFarlane)
(Puppey's first little darling/Sunshine)

20th July 1991

Lionel witnessed the marriage of his son, Paul to Kerin.

20th October 1992

Second grandchild - (grandson) was born. (Stuart Paul Austin)

3rd July 1995

Third grandchild - (grandson) was born (Angus John McFarlane), however sadly passed away.

26th April 1997

Fourth grandchild - (grand-daughter) was born. (Millie Jane McFarlane)(Puppey's second little darling/Sunshine)

25th February 1998

Fifth grandchild - (grandson) was born. (Bradley Jared Austin)

30th December 2002

Sixth grandchild - (grand-daughter) was born. (Matalida jin-Lan Austin) (grandads little sweetheart)

31st October (1964 - 2004)

Lionel and Catherine celebrated their 40th wedding Anniversary.

2004

Passed away on November 21, 2004 at the age of 64.
